Matrix Fitness today announced an expanded integration with Upace, the member engagement platform trusted by YMCAs, JCCs, and Parks & Rec centers across North America. Effective September 16, 2026, community rec members can connect their Matrix account to their home rec center’s Upace-powered mobile app, and instantly see their Matrix workouts appear right inside it, with no extra logins and no separate screens to manage.
Once connected, members gain a dedicated Activity Log within their already familiar rec center app showing the equipment they used, their performance for each session, and the date of their workout. Matrix workouts also now power in-app badges, challenges, and rewards, giving every session a way to count for more. Members earn badges at key milestones and can take part in their center’s Member Challenges built around Matrix activity, including the Matrix Sprint 8 Challenge, a focused goal paired with a custom badge.
