The former athletic director at a high school in Hawaii is being ordered to pay a nearly $300,000 penalty for reportedly stealing money from the club.

Glenn Nitta was the AD for Mililani High School. He has been ordered to pay an administrative penalty of $274,500 after the Hawaii State Ethics Commission resolved a charge against him on Thursday, KHON-TV reported.

Nitta did not contest the charges and cooperated in the investigation, settling with the Ethics Commission for $274.5K, which is based off an estimated 338 violations of the state ethics code.

In November, Nitta paid $406,000 in restitution. After avoiding jail time, he was also placed on probation and ordered to pay a fine of $155,000.

The fine is the largest ever handed out the Hawaii Ethics Commission, Hawaii News Now reported
