An Ohio parent has been accused of brandishing a handgun during a fight at a youth football game in Forest Park.

According to court documents obtained by the local NBC affiliate, Daniyan Ward, 34, was at the Winton Woods Intermediate School’s football game when he got into a physical altercation with another parent. During the argument, Ward allegedly pulled a handgun from his waistband and “displayed it in a threatening manner.”

Kids and parents fled the area when Ward pulled the gun. Ward then fled the scene but was stopped by officers two blocks away.

After searching Ward’s car, officers found a loaded handgun.

Ward was charged with inducing panic, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and having weapons while under disability.

Ward is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
