Coach Refutes Tribal Council’s Claims of Racial Taunts

A girls' basketball coach in Idaho is accusing the local tribal leader of “character assassination” for claiming that her players used racial taunts during a tournament game.

Paula Tucker, coach of the Salmon River High School girls basketball team has responded to allegations that her players racially taunted members of the Shoshone-Bannock Junior-Senior High School girls basketball team during the semifinal game of the 1A Division II state tournament.
