A man interviewing for a high school coaching job in Westport, Conn., made the wrong kind of first impression by robbing the boys locker room at Staples High School.

Several victims reported various personal item missing, such as backpacks, electronics and cash.

Police investigated and found footage from surveillance cameras of interviewee Artay Drinks, according to The Hour

Drinks had visited Staples, requesting to meet with the athletic director about a coaching job.  During that conversation, Drinks allegedly identified himself and provided a cellphone number.

He was later captured on camera leaving the locker room with some of the reportedly stolen items, police said. Arrest warrants were ultimately sought and granted for Drinks.<

Drinks was taken into custody on Nov. 4. He is being charged with third-degree larceny, two counts of fourth-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny.
