A longtime high school coach in Ohio has been accused of abusing one of his players over a period of many years.
Chad Wilhoff coached basketball, soccer and track at Bethel-Tate High School. He’s been charged with 10 separate sex crimes, including one count of gross sexual imposition, three counts of sexual battery and six counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Clermont County assistant prosecutor Scott O’Reilly said the charges stem from Wilhoff’s relationship with a young girl. The abuse is alleged to have started when she was just 12 years old.
According to court documents obtained by the local ABC affiliate, the abuse continued until after the girl’s 18th birthday.
The investigation into the allegations is ongoing.
