A high school athletic director in Ohio has been suspended and charged with inappropriate contact with students.

Woodward High School athletic director Richard Hug has officially been charged with “sexual imposition” hugging a female student in his office before tapping her on the buttocks. He also reportedly hugged another student, with his hands reaching down her lower back.

One of the victims told police that Hug was visibly aroused when he stood up.

According to the local CBS affiliate, Toledo Public Schools has placed Hug on unpaid leave, and the board is set to discuss his suspension at a meeting this week.

Hug has been with the school since Aug. 2008.

Hug pleaded not guilty on June 18 and his pretrial was held Tuesday. His next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 20 and he has been ordered to make no contact with the victims.
