A former Maryland youth baseball coach has been arrested for allegedly abusing children while he was helping the team.

Baltimore police arrested 33-year-old Melvin Tucker III of Dundalk on six charges, including second-degree rape and sexual abuse of a minor, according to online court records reported by The Baltimore Sun.

A victim came forward, telling police that “Coach Joe” abused them while he was coaching the Arbutus Recreational League baseball team.

Tucker is being held without bail.
