Missouri governor Mike Parson has signed into law updates to the state's NIL bill, which will allow a coach or school official to assist students in negotiations for sponsorships.

According to the KZRG, coaches and school officials are still not allowed to act as a player's agent.

The bill will also extend NIL benefits to high schoolers as long as they sign a letter of intent with a public university in Missouri.

The law takes effect in August.
