Court Docs: Georgia Recruiting Staffers Routinely Drove After Drinking

University of Georgia football recruiting staff members routinely drove rented vehicles after consuming alcohol, according to court documents filed Thursday by attorneys representing former recruiting staffer Victoria Bowles.

As reported by ESPN, Bowles survived the January, 2023 car crash that killed Bulldogs offensive lineman Devin Willock and fellow recruiting staff member Chandler LeCroy, who was driving all three a leased SUV following the celebration of Georgia's national championship. On Jan. 15, 2023, Bowles sued the University of Georgia Athletic Association, former Georgia player Jalen Carter, LeCroy's estate and others for damages in July.
