Judge: Sheriff's Deputies Owed No Obligation to Intoxicated Man Beaten in SoFi Lot

A judge in California has found that Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies owed no duty of care to an intoxicated San Francisco 49ers fan who sued the county after he was beaten in a SoFi Stadium parking lot during the 2022 NFC Championship Game.

As reported by City News Service, the attack left Daniel Luna so battered he was placed in a medically induced coma.
