Sports streaming and analysis provider Hudl experienced an outage Friday that impacted high school fans, coaches and players across the country.
According to FootballScoop, the outage occurred at 8:31 p.m. CST, right around game time for many communities.
Hudl posted a message to its official status page at the time, saying it was "currently investigating" a problem that impacted its live streaming and focus replay freezing services.
Fans who were watching livestreams of a game saw their picture freeze, and coaches who were accessing the focus replay feature from the sidelines experienced the same.
StatusGator, which logs user reports for the service, saw messages from Nebraska, Oregon and Texas that night.
Hudl continued investigating the problem into Saturday, which likely impacted many high school football programs hoping to review game footage from the previous night.
FootballScoop reported that as of Monday morning, the incident on Hudl’s status page still sat at “monitoring,” with no explanation of the cause.
