Alabama State Indefinitely Suspends Player for Punching Stadium Worker

Alabama State University's athletics department has suspended a player indefinitely for striking a security guard during the aftermath of Saturday’s 23-10 loss at Florida A&M.

As reported by the Montgomery Advertiser,  In a shouting match against the opposing crowd following the Southwestern Athletic Conference east division game at A&M's Bragg Memorial Stadium, a player wearing a No. 16 Alabama State jersey and identified as Jacob Freeman swung and hit the nearby security guard before being pulled back by his teammates.
