Uniform Changes for High School Wrestling Approved

Beginning in the 2017-18 season, high school wrestlers will have the option to choose whether they wear the traditional one-piece singlet on the mat.

A two-piece uniform alternative was approved by the National Federation of State High School Associations Board of Directors this week, allowing for wrestlers to don compression shorts or shorts designed for wrestling as well as a form-fitting compression shirt for competition.
