The University of Maryland announced a fundraising campaign to support a new Basketball Performance Center. The University of Wisconsin announced plans to renovate the south end zone at Camp Randall Stadium. The renovation is expected to upgrade the fan experience with new premium seating options, access to indoor hospitality and outdoor terraces, climate-controlled amenities and expanded premium food and beverage service. The plan is in its early stages, and the school has not yet selected an architect for the project. New Mexico State University broke ground on a new baseball training facility last week. The 4,500-square-foot project will be located near the third base dugout of the baseball stadium, and include designated hitting locations and two dual-use two hitting and pitching areas. Designed by HOK, the open-air design, with exterior screen walls, will allow for the team to practice in the spring, despite the hot temperatures. — KTSM.com

The University of Montana announced plans to upgrade it’s men’s basketball facilities. The program will get renovated locker rooms, a player lounge, a new coaches’ locker room and a team meeting space. The $2 million project includes expanded space for the Hackney Athletic Equipment Center, which serves all of the school’s student-athletes. — GoGriz.com
