Coach Investigated Over Methods, Resume Still Suspect

Cheney (Wash.) High School has placed boys' basketball coach Frankie Keplinger on administrative leave pending an investigation into his coaching style.

An unnamed source first disclosed to the Cheney Free Press on Jan. 25 that Keplinger had been sidelined, but stated the reason was for incorrect information on his resume. School district officials denied this allegation Jan. 27. Keplinger had led the team to a 2-14 record this season up to the time of his suspension from the sideline.
