Mercyhurst University announced renovations to the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. The renovations are part of the Laker for Life Campaign, which began two years ago and raised in excess of $10 million to fund new athletics facilities. The MAC, which hosts basketball, volleyball and wrestling, will be renovated with a new playing surface, new seating and video scoreboards. A stage will also be removed from the facility, and the court rotated 90 degrees. — GoErie.com
