Florida State University revealed updated renderings of its new football operations building. Plans call for a 150,000-square-foot building, with amenities including a dedicated football training facility attached to the Dunlap Athletic Training Center, a locker room, a recruiting lounge, coaches’ offices, position meeting rooms, and extensive strength training and weight room facilities with hydrotherapy pools, cryotherapy, a recovery suite and more. — Seminoles.com

The Seneca (Mo.) School District broke ground last week on a new athletics complex. The 16-acre, $3 million facility will include a track, a baseball field and a softball field. Construction began on Monday, and is expected to be completed by August. — FourStateHomepage.com
Centre College in Danville, Ky., announced plans for $50 million, 135,000-square-foot athletics and wellness facility. The facility, designed in partnership with MSA Sport, will serve the entire campus community with features including a 10-lane, 50-meter pool, a six-lane, 200-meter indoor track, a 6,000-square-foot strength and wellness center, locker rooms, a nutrition center and more. Included in the construction project is an upgrade to Farris Stadium, which hosts the schools football, men’s lacrosse and track and field programs. Vanderbilt University will provide football fans with new seating options this fall. The school is in the midst of building premium seating in the north end zone of its football stadium. Plans call for 28 loge boxes in addition to 80 individual premium seats. Construction began this spring, and is likely to be completed ahead of schedule. — VUCommodores.com
