Georgia Tech University has completed Phase II of its renovation to Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium and is hosting a dedication ceremony for the project on Saturday. Phase II of the renovation focused on Champions Hall, a heritage area which highlights Georgia Tech baseball success and includes premium seating options via the Mark Teixeira Skyline Terrace. The University of Hawai’i at Manoa announced it has received a $1.5 million gift from the Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation to help fund the upgrade to The Clarence T.C. Ching Complex — which will bring the Rainbow Warrior football program on campus. Corban University announced plans to break ground on an Outdoor Athletic Complex this month. The $4 million project, scheduled for completion this fall, includes a state-of-the-art track and field complex, a competition turf field, new lighting and improved drainage systems. The facility will host high school competitions, club practices, sports tournaments, camps and community events, as well as Corban’s track and field, women’s lacrosse and men’s and women’s soccer teams. — Corban.edu
