A video showing a ball girl intervening as an unruly fan outran security workers on the field at Dodger Stadium has gone viral.
The incident happened during the Los Angeles Angels vs. Dodgers game Sunday, KABC-TV reported. The fan sprinted and weaved half the length of the field and hurdled over one guard.
One video of the fracas on Twitter, which had gained 1.1 million views as of Monday, showed four security guards in dark clothing running behind a man in a white shirt and jeans, who was headed toward the corner of the outfield. In the video, the ball girl is the first to make contact with the fan, grabbing him by the side. The man then tumbled over the wall into the stands. The security guards were then able to capture him.
The Dodgers took the win over the Angels, 8-2.
