Golden 1 Center Again Closed Due to Protests

For the second time in as many weeks, entrances to the Sacramento Kings’ Golden 1 Center were blocked by protesters demonstrating against the police shooting of Stephon Clark.

According to Sports Illustrated, the team closed entrances to the arena as part of the standard safety protocol, asking fans to leave. Unlike last Thursday’s delayed game, played in front of a smaller-than-usual crowd, Tuesday’s game against the Mavericks continued as scheduled.
