Nassar Aftermath: MSU Chaperone Policy Monitored

Michigan State University will adhere to a requirement that a chaperone accompany individuals during sensitive medical examinations as part of the resolution of a federal civil-rights investigation stemming from the Larry Nassar sexual abuse scandal.

Nassar is effectively serving life in prison for possessing child pornography and for molesting hundreds of young student-athletes at Michigan State, sometimes when parents were present. He also worked at USA Gymnastics.
