A school bus carrying eighth-grade football players overturned on the interstate, sending a number of players to the hospital.
The wreck took place southeast of Adair, Okla., near County Road 420. The bus belonged to Pryor Schools.
Pryor Schools superintendent told News 6 that the bust was on a narrow road when the tire clipped the side of the road, which resulted in the bus tipping over. The players and coaches are were sent to two different hospitals, but police on the scene said their were five minor injuries.
"I'm just thankful to God for protecting us and not letting any of us get hurt," said 14-year-old Jeffery Williams.
News 6 reported that all players and coaches have been released from the hospital as of Friday morning.
