In the absence of the bubble in which the NBA conducted its previous season, the league appears to be having some trouble staving off COVID-19 infections.
The Washington Wizards have cancelled their scheduled Friday game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The game would have been the Wizards’ first in 11 days after missing five games as a result of a COVID-19 outbreak within the team.

Wizards guard Bradley Beal spoke to media Wednesday and said the team is “fighting the league” about whether they should play Friday.
The Wizards had six players test positive after their Jan. 11 game against the Phoenix Suns. One staff member also tested positive.
As of now, the postponed games could be rescheduled when the NBA releases its calendar for the second half of the season.
