Two Athletic Trainers Save Ref's Life at Soccer Complex

Two athletic trainers from Children’s Mercy Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., are being credited for saving the life of a referee during a soccer tournament after he experienced a heart attack moments before the start of the second half of a match earlier this month.

As reported by Kansas City Fox affiliate WDAF, Mark Kinch was getting ready to signal the start of the second half of a U-14 Sporting Kansas City Academy game against the Nashville academy at Swope Soccer Village when he fell face first and began seizing.
