A cheerleader was ejected from a men's basketball game between Mississippi Valley State and Alabama A&M Saturday after she pushed one of the players.

The cheerleader for MVSU alleged she was pushed by one of the Alabama players. The game had to be stopped when she walked onto the court and pushed the player in question.

The cheerleader grabbed her things from the bench and was escorted by security out of the arena.

According to the New York Post, the cheerleader claimed the A&M player ran into a MVSU cheerleader during her routine during the last few minutes of the first half. She also claimed that junior guard, Dailin Smith, made contact with her while inbounding the ball.

Everything came to a head during the next play when the same cheerleader was hit again. That's when she walked onto the court and retaliated.

Alabama's coach was irate over the incident.

“The Alabama A&M coach, he’s fussing,” Caleb Brunson, a game broadcaster said. “He’s fussing and cussing.”

“Yeah, coach is kinda losing it over here,” Andre Williams, the other broadcast team member, added.

Alabama A&M won 70-68 on a last-second shot.
