A suspect is in custody after a Buffalo Bills fan was shot and killed outside Hard Rock Stadium following Sunday night's Dolphins game.
According to Local 10, police were able to track down a silver four-door Honda Accord and its owner. The owner was questioned as a suspect, but no arrests have yet been made.
Dylan Brody Isaacs, 30, of Six Nations, Canada, was the victim of the shooting.
“Dylan was always the life of the party. You know, he was very smart, intelligent,” his mother, Susan Isaacs, told Local 10 News.
Miami Gardens police confirmed that Isaacs and a group of friends were walking through traffic after the game when they got into a verbal argument with the suspect, who then shot Isaacs.
The shooter first tried to intentionally hit the group with his vehicle and the sped off. The vehicle struck a pedestrian while "allegedly driving erratically."
Dylan Isaacs and his friends ran after the vehicle, at which time the gunman got out of his vehicle and began firing at the group, striking Isaacs, according to a GoFundMe page that was set up for Isaacs.
“All I could do was talk to him. I felt sorry for him being on the ground by himself,” witness Jae Jackson said. “I’ve never seen officers do CPR. They were taking turns going back and forth.”
Police say they have confirmed "a suspect," but did not release the suspect's identity or confirm whether he will face charges. The investigation is ongoing.
