Soccer Stampede in Guinea Kills 56, Including Children

Fifty-six people were killed and several injured in a stampede at a soccer stadium in southern Guinea, following clashes between fans, Guinea’s government said Monday.

As reported by The Associated Press, authorities are conducting an investigation to establish those responsible for Sunday's stampede, Fana Soumah, the nation's communications minister, said in a televised statement.
