A gym-goer was killed Tuesday when a woman crashed her SUV into the front of a New Jersey Planet Fitness where she was working out.
According to the New York Post, the unidentified 72-year-old was exercising near the large front windows of a Planet Fitness on Newark Avenue in Elizabeth when the 69-year-old driver drove her car through the glass around 12:20 on Tuesday.
Another man was injured while using a treadmill. He was sent to the hospital with cuts and bruises but discharged Wednesday afternoon.
The driver, also no identified, was left with minor injuries after her airbag deployed.
No criminal charges were filed, and officials have ordered the building closed until the structural damage sustained can be inspected.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Gym members told CBS News the crash area included a free-weight section, treadmills, and a table and chairs just beside the front window.
