The DuPont Country Club has a rich history that dates to 1920. Several enhancements were made to the club over the years to keep up with rapid membership growth. In 2018, DuPont Country Club was sold to a family heir and a former DuPont Company executive, which sparked plans for yet another massive expansion of the club. The $18 million expansion was unique in that it included plans for the first-ever pool at DuPont Country Club, along with a 19,321-square-foot fitness center.

In 2020, the club celebrated its 100th anniversary. The new 25-meter lap pool and children’s pool were warmly welcomed by the members that same year. The main focus of the expansion was to provide means of entertainment for the whole family.

Despite minor supply chain interruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the aquatic complex was completed on time in June 2020, and the DuPont Country Club pool was one of the first pools to reopen during the pandemic.
