Wilderness Ridge Golf and Country Club

Lincoln, Neb.
Construction Cost: Withheld
Area / Square Feet: 9,500
Occupancy Date: July 2022

In 2020, the Wilderness Ridge Golf and Country Club decided to explore upgrading its aquatic options for the wellbeing of its members. Counsilman-Hunsaker conducted a study for the club, and two concepts were provided to and reviewed by the country club.

The new aquatic center includes a lap pool, an activity pool, a spray pad, a lazy river, an adult pool and a spa. Features throughout the center include diving boards, a body slide, water sports, spray features, an in-pool bar, hydrotherapy jets and more.

In addition to these updates, the club also planned to construct a new pro shop building to house its year-round Nebraska Golf Academy, and a plan was conceived for β€œ19th Hole” β€” a new members-only bar and grill β€” plus a fitness center. Construction on the expansions began in the spring of 2021 and concluded in July 2022.
