VARIETY OF USES
The Price Hill Aquatics & Recreation Center focused on updating the overall look and feel of the complex and creating a much more functional facility, while retaining as much of the existing recreation center as possible. In order to realize operation and maintenance cost savings, the pool was designed with a variety of amenities and uses, including swimming, splash areas, a water slide, wading and water aerobics. Although extensively focused on play, the pool incorporates six lap lanes that can be used for practice and competition.

SERVING RECREATION
In addition to the recreation center improvements, the existing pool was replaced with a new aquatics center. The existing pool was atop an adjoining hill and disconnected from the recreation center. The new aquatics center now directly serves the recreation center with an accessible route and features a zero-depth-entry recreational pool, a water slide, a lap-swim area, and a support building with changing rooms, restrooms and concessions.
