Choctaw Resort & Casino AQUA Pool Area

As one of eight casinos owned by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and the only AAA Four-Diamond-rated hotel in Southeastern Oklahoma, the Choctaw Nation invested $600 million to expand its signature casino and resort property in Durant to meet demand and elevate the overall guest experience. The expansion more than doubled the capacity of the resort with a new 21-story Sky Tower hotel featuring 1,000 luxury rooms and suites and decorated with a world class collection of Choctaw art. The building expansion also added six new restaurants and 11 new bars and lounges, and expanded gaming areas to include 3,300 new slot machines, 40 new game tables and a new poker room with 30 additional tables. AQUA is the new pool area with two ultramodern resort pools — an exclusive adults-only pool with a swim-up bar and hydrotherapy spa, and a family-friendly main pool with a zero-depth entry, in-water benches, a children’s wet play area and two thrilling water slides. Four food vendors provide poolside service to the three-acre pool area, which features more than 50 luxury poolside cabanas, 750 chaise lounge chairs, in-pool seating, three outdoor bars and a swim-up bar. The expansion brought thousands of new jobs to the area, economic growth for Oklahoma, and funding to the Choctaw Nation for education, infrastructure improvements and other much-needed services for tribal members.
