The Poplar Building is a conversion of an existing department store warehouse that had been standing since 1918.

The renovation has been in progress since the developer (Post Brothers) acquired the property in 2017. The 10-story building includes 285 luxury apartments, along with expansive amenity spaces, including a roof deck with an incredible view of the Philadelphia skyline. The Solmar rooftop terrace, where guests can relax in one of three spectacular infinity-edge saltwater pools and two hot tubs, embraces vibrant colors and playful design. The deck also features private cabana seating, lounge chairs, a play area for children and a dazzling mural.
