Collegiate aquatic centers are increasingly incorporating design elements and equipment that accommodate high-activity usage.

Certain that exercise enhances their thinking, reduces stress and improves their energy level, many college students consider it their most effective study break. (It's also a prime social outlet.) But lap swimming aside, most college pools don't offer much to students looking to work out rather than wade.
