The Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus of Pasco County (Fla.) officially opened on Thursday. The $29 million, 98,000-square-foot facility boasts amenities such as two 35,500-square-foot multi-use courts, a competition cheer studio, two multipurpose outdoor fields, an athletic training center and more. Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium renovation project reached a milestone this week, as the demolition of the Spence Clark Football Center began to clear the way for the new Ken Garff Performance Zone. The new facility will include locker rooms for both the Utah football program and visiting teams, a sports medicine space and add nearly 5,000 new seats to the venue. Construction is expected to be completed prior to the 2021 football season. — SI.com
