The Green Bay (Wis.) Stadium District Board has agreed to contribute $3 million toward the construction of a third locker room at Lambeau Field.

According to Fox 11, the new locker room will be used by visiting teams, such as when colleges and other professional teams play at the stadium.

Lambeau hosted the Manchester City-Bayern Munich soccer game in 2022, and the Wisconsin-LSU football game in 2016.

The new locker room will cost around $5 million, and the team has asked the Green Bay/Brown County Professional Football Stadium District to pitch in nearly $3 million toward the project.

The request was tabled during a meeting back in April, but on Monday the contribution was approved.

The locker room will be in the southeast corner of the stadium, near Section 137.
