Ball State Athletics is thrilled to unveil the first renderings of the new clubhouse facilities for its baseball and softball programs, following approval by the Ball State University Board of Trustees on May 2.
The $8.8 million project, designed by MSA Design, will bring state-of-the-art facilities to Shebek Stadium and the Ball State Softball Stadium. Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2025 and be completed by Summer 2026.
"It's an exciting time to be a Cardinal," Head Softball Coach Helen Peña said. "The athletic department and university continue to raise the bar in supporting our student-athletes. I'm incredibly grateful and thrilled about this project and the impact it will have on both our current team and future generations of Ball State softball."

High School Breaks Ground on All-Girls Sports ComplexÂ
The first all-girls sports complex in the Greater Cincinnati area is one step closer to fruition after construction broke ground on Wednesday.
Seton High School is building the $16 million sports complex on 11 acres of land in Delhi Township. Seton High School previously announced it bought the 11 acres of land, located on Delhi Pike, Greenwell Avenue, Klemme Drive and Glenroy Avenue.
Currently, the plan is for the sports complex to open for the 2026 fall sports season.

University of Vermont Plans $5M Athletics Support BuildingÂ
A new athletic support building is coming to the campus of the University of Vermont.
In June, the university broke ground on the north end between Virtue Field and Moulton Winder Field for a new building that will serve 60% of UVM's varsity athletes, fans, officials and athletic trainers.
"It's the final element of what we call the 'Archie Post Athletic Complex," said UVM Athletic Director Jeff Schulman. "This is a really important part of our overall athletics physical plant."
The $5 million price tag includes game-day lockerooms, officials' rooms, and athletic training support for every varsity athlete that uses Virtue Field, Moulton Winder Field, and the Frank H. Livak Track & Field.
