(Greenville, SC — June 10, 2014) Stark RFID, a Greenville, SC-based integrator of enterprise-level RFID, is completing installation of Stark EM, its RFID event management solution, at the new College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta. Scheduled to open this August, the $66.5 million three-story attraction covers 94,256 square feet with approximately 30,000 square feet of exhibit space.
Stark EM will manage access control, analytics and social media integration, while activating the interactive multi-media displays. “We’re deploying over 100 RFID readers on this project,” noted Jack Tyson, Stark EM Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. “Guests will use our RFID credentials to activate customized content throughout the venue.”
“This level of RFID-activated interaction lets us offer a customized experience unlike anything else in the country and will make this hall of fame unique,” said Marcus Margerum, the College Football Hall of Fame’s Vice President of Marketing & Communications. “It will be a fun and interactive experience for our fans while they’re here and they’ll extend our reach afterward, posting their videos and images on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.”
The RFID event management solution will also provide real-time tracking for analytics, monitoring length of stay, peak time, traffic flow, capacity and population segmentation. “We’ll be able to track the popularity of individual exhibits and measure the effect of new content,” Mr. Margerum noted.
“We can move our fan ambassadors into place to help with crowds and congestion, and show our sponsors a detailed breakdown of their return on investment.”
The Hall represents the latest win for Stark RFID, which has deployed its event management solution for the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, music festivals and major venues across the country.
“We’re seeing more and more interest in our interactive capabilities,” said Lance Burnett, CEO of Stark RFID. “The College Football Hall of Fame wanted to make the fan experience more relevant and engaging and Stark EM delivers. I’m excited, because as a Clemson grad and fan, I’ll be able to enjoy content about the Tigers while fans of other colleges focus on their teams.”

About Atlanta Hall Management & The College Football Hall of Fame
Scheduled to open in August, the new College Football Hall of Fame will be a 94,256-square-foot attraction located in the heart of Atlanta's sports, entertainment and tourism district. Adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park, the new Hall will provide visitors with a highly-immersive, interactive and engaging experience using a blend of historic college football artifacts and state-of-the-art, interactive multimedia exhibits. The National Football Foundation (NFF) launched the Hall in 1951 to stand as one of the nation's premier sports shrines, immortalizing the game’s greatest players and coaches as positive role models for future generations. In 2009, Atlanta Hall Management, Inc., partnered with the NFF to construct and operate the new Hall of Fame attraction, which will also provide a platform for community outreach, education and character development initiatives, as well as serve as one of Atlanta’s premier special event spaces.
