PHIT Act Introduced in Senate

SILVER SPRING, MD – October 29, 2015 – Today Senators Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), John Thune (R-S.D.), Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.), and Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) officially introduced the Personal Health Investment (PHIT) Act (S.2218); SFIA’s top legislative policy initiative designed to make physical activity more affordable for Americans. Having a Senate companion to the House PHIT bill (H.R. 1218) is critical to moving the PHIT Act through Congress and marks the first time the PHIT Act has been introduced in both chambers of Congress.
