25th July 2017: Nova Scotia’s largest and most diverse municipality, the Halifax Regional Municipality, has selected Legend Recreation Software as the new integrated registration and recreation management solution for its recreation facilities. Legend’s cloud-based single solution software system will replace several disparate facilities booking, program registration, membership management and reporting methodologies which have been in use across the municipality.
Legend’s convenient online self-service functionality will benefit residents and users of the municipality’s recreation programs by providing faster access during peak registration periods, and enabling them to self-manage their recreation experiences. In addition, improved metrics and reporting statistics will sharpen strategic and operational decision making, ensuring the delivery of optimal services that customers require.
Following a competitive tender process, Legend was selected for the strength and breadth of its solution. Legend’s software will allow the municipality to provide improved customer service to residents via personalised communications, bookings and access to account information through self-serve options. Legend’s flagship business intelligence reporting will better equip the Halifax Regional Municipality to understand and target customer needs, enabling them to deliver their tailored recreation services more effectively.
Looking to the future, Legend’s international pedigree and proven expertise in working collaboratively with recreation providers will ensure that through customer-led research and development, the Legend System evolves synergistically with the needs of the municipality.
