NFHS Announces Crumbraise as New Corporate Partner

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (August 22, 2019) — Crumbraise (Crumb), Inc., a fundraising and financial management platform for youth and school sports programs, is a new corporate partner of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and the NFHS Network.

As an alternative to traditional fundraising programs, Crumb offers schools a micro-donation concept for individuals interested in supporting a school’s sports programs. After connecting a person’s bank account, Crumb rounds up the individual’s purchases and donates those “crumbs” to a team or program of their choice. Donors also earn rewards when Crumb matches their daily transactions with participating brands.

“This is a unique way for individuals to support their local school and athletic programs,” said Dr. Karissa Niehoff, NFHS executive director. “This concept by Crumb is a great alternative to more traditional fundraising methods. We look forward to this partnership and to see how Crumb will be able to help schools raise money for their athletic programs in a new and innovative manner.”

“We’re thrilled to be the newest NFHS corporate partner,” said Kristen Gocke, co-founder and executive vice-president of client relations for Crumb. “We can’t think of a better ally as we present Crumb to high school athletic and activity programs that are looking for new and more efficient ways to raise funds.

“Many programs struggle because of shrinking budgets, forcing them to seek outside funding.  Typical fundraisers like car washes, gift card drives and restaurant nights take significant time and effort to pull off, and rarely deliver on results. Crumb uses the power of network effects to raise money through roundups on daily purchases, while also rewarding donors for their participation. Crumb requires minimal time and effort from athletic directors, coaches and players, allowing them to focus on what they do best.”

As a part of the three-year agreement, Crumb will receive 30-second ads during game broadcasts on the NFHS Network, which broadcasts more than 100,000 high school sports events online each https://www.athleticbusiness.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&layout=edit#year at www.NFHSNetwork.com.
