Honor Yoga closes out Cleveland market with six locations under development
Lawrenceville, New Jersey – Following an announcement of three studios in the Cleveland-Akron area, Honor Yoga, a leader in the $16 billion yoga industry, is further developing the Cleveland market with three additional studios. Known as an eco- and beginner-friendly yoga studio and community that welcomes and nourishes every yogi to thrive in their practice, Honor Yoga has sold out the Cleveland area, bringing a total of six studios to the community over the next several years.
Locations in Glenwillow, Shaker Heights, Chagrin Falls and Cleveland proper, among others, are being considered for the additional studio sites.
“Honor Yoga’s continued growth in Cleveland is a testament to our appeal and strength as a national brand, and I have no doubt that we will continue to flourish with the addition of these new studios,” said Maria Turco, founder and CEO of Honor Yoga. “As health grows to become a more prominent area of focus in life, it’s important for people to understand that yoga is a catalyst for change, challenging an individual to new lengths physically and mentally. Honor Yoga will be a welcoming environment to yogis of every level to explore yoga in Northeast Ohio.”
Founded by fitness industry veteran Maria Turco, Honor Yoga’s mission is to provide welcoming, beginner-friendly and accessible yoga studios where healthier and happier communities can be built around the practice of yoga. Focused on five pillars– physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and social health – Honor Yoga offers a variety of classes to fit into each individual’s diverse lifestyle and schedule. From gentle, roots, calm and strong, slow flow, flow, power flow, aerial, yogabarre and meditation, each class is designed to fulfill Honor Yoga’s five pillars of yogic practice to relax the mind, restore balance, and build strength and flexibility. Honor Yoga also offers online streaming yoga classes.
Furthermore, each studio is consciously designed with the environment in mind. The living and breathing space honors the body, spirit and environment through a living vertical garden, bamboo floors as a wood substitute, safe cleaning products, and reusable retail products, among other design elements.
“Each studio is consciously designed with the yogi and earth in mind,” noted Turco.
Honor Yoga is also recognized for its foundation – Honor Yoga Foundation – which hosts a variety of classes, workshops and outreach programs designed to foster peace and healing in communities through yoga.
“Giving back is in Honor Yoga’s DNA and will be a prominent element of each new studio,” added Turco. “We are excited to work with Cleveland’s local charities and organizations to create healthier and happier communities.”
Honor Yoga currently has 25 studios in various stages of development across six states, with plans to open 20 additional studios each year. By 2023, Honor Yoga expects to have 100 studios open and operating.
