i-BrainTech, pioneers in sports neurotechnology and creators of the world’s first brain-controlled video game for athletic performance, today announced the expansion of its partnership with Italy’s premier football club, Juventus FC. Building on its existing collaboration with Juventus first team players, i-BrainTech will now work with the Juventus International Academies to support the development of rising talent worldwide.
With the support of Juventus’ top-tier professional staff, i-BrainTech has developed individualized neuro-training programs designed to enhance tactical awareness, motor control, and mental resilience—three critical pillars for elite player development.
i-BrainTech’s platform is a sport-specific training game powered entirely by the mind. Through real-time neurofeedback and brain data, it offers insights into cognitive traits such as focus, endurance, and mental flexibility. This supplemental off-field training helps players increase training time without physical fatigue, strengthen neuromuscular control, refine motor skills, and accelerate return-to-play post-injury.
This latest initiative builds on a successful foundation: i-BrainTech was named Juventus’ “Innovation of the Year” in 2023, recognizing its groundbreaking contribution to performance training at the elite level.
“The most impressive aspect of i-BrainTech is that it is a video game controlled exclusively by brain impulses, without any movement on the part of the player, focusing all attention on the mental process underlying the motor task while at the same time being very engaging for those using it,”said Duccio Ferrari Bravo, Juventus Head of Sports Science.
Dr Konstantin Sonkin, i-BrainTech CEO, Co-Founder, DeepTech entrepreneur and neuroscientist, said: “We’re proud to strengthen our partnership with one of the world’s most iconic football clubs. After decades of research into the brain-body connection and how the brain drives movement, we’ve developed a sport-specific technology that brings applied neuroscience to the sports world. Our platform enhances cognitive abilities, accelerates skill development, and helps unlock each athlete’s full potential. It’s a win for science—and a win for performance.”
i-BrainTech’s technology has a global footprint, currently used by clients in over 12 countries across Europe and the U.S. It is already applied in both football and professional basketball, with future plans to expand into additional sports.
