Q: What was the most valuable lesson you learned at your first AB Show?
A: The network and leadership sessions offered at AB Show were very focused and honed in on the recreation and wellness side of things, which was refreshing. I feel like I got a lot out of the event in a short amount of time.
Q: How has your attendance at AB Show 2019 impacted your career?
A: I walked away with a reminder that we have the opportunity to impact so many lives in so many ways. Plus, I was able to connect with a lot of peers — who I'm excited to catch up with — to learn about what they're doing in their communities and how we can bring some of those ideas back home. Ultimately, everyone has the same challenges and it's interesting to see how different people navigate those challenges.
Q: Are you planning to attend AB Show 2020?
A: Yes, I'm attending AB Show 2020, and bringing more people with me. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with the people I met last November to see what they're up to now, what's changed and what the new trends are.
