NHL Uses Tech to Track Pucks, Players This Season

The National Hockey League plans to use technology to track pucks and players this season.

The league said special pucks with infrared tracking technology and thumb-sized sensors worn on athletes' backs will help gather objective analytics, the Associated Press reported
