Major League Soccer host Kaylyn Kyle has apologize for claiming this week on Sirius XM's 'The Football Show' that New England Revolution head coach Bruce Arena had been put on administrative leave for making racial slurs.

"On yesterday's episode of The Football Show on Sirius XM, I made improper and inaccurate remarks about the basis for MLS's review of Bruce Arena," Kyle said in her statement on X (formerly Twitter).

While the 71-year-old Arena has been placed on leave, the Revolution has not released any details on why he was suspended.

"The organization takes any allegations of workplace misconduct extremely seriously and is working closely with the League and fully cooperating with its investigation," the team said in a statement.

Technical director Curt Onalfo and assistant Richie Williams will act as interim coaches during the Revolution's upcoming match against Atlas at the Leagues Cup.
