Former AD Will Not Face Criminal Charges Over 'Disturbing' Texts to Former Student

A former Texas high school football coach and athletic director will not be charged with a crime after he was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a former student. 

According to News 3, police determined that former Mathis ISD athletic director Roger Masters' communications with the student -- who he knew from a previous year -- were 'disturbing, unprofessional, and inappropriate,' but they were not sexually explicit, and there was no evidence to support criminal wrongdoing.
