When it comes to sports apparel deals, the focus tends to be on collegiate teams who sign rich deals with sportswear companies. But the apparel wars have trickled down to the high school level, as well.
Last month, Under Armour signed a five-year apparel sponsorship with Fulton County Schools near Atlanta that will help to outfit 13 of 16 schools with athletic apparel, jerseys shoes and more at discounted prices.
The deal is reportedly the largest of its kind, but the Fulton County Schools Athletic Department did not disclose its value.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the deal will grant participating schools access to high-quality products that they previously had to rely on booster clubs to provide.
“The 13 Fulton County high schools are guaranteed discounted prices on Under Armour produts,” the system told the Chronicle. “The schools that did not have access to school wide deals now are able to purchase new uniforms at an amazing discount, leveling the playing field across Fulton County schools.”
Fulton County Schools expects the deal will help to save more than $1 million over the next several years.
