Shortly thereafter, with the help of GPS tracking technology that was left on the bus, it was located — about 40 miles away from St. Bonaventure's Reilly Center — in Randolph, New York.
The bus driver, 56-year-old Linda Edmister, had taken off with the bus and was arrested in Randolph for driving while intoxicated, according to State Police. Edmister was being processed at a jail in Cattaraugus County as of early Thursday morning, according to ESPN.

The team was able to retrieve equipment and gear after police returned the bus to St. Bonaventure, where they boarded a new bus with a new driver to make their way to a local airport. The Billikens arrived for their flight shortly after midnight.
